On Monday, July 21, 2025, a morning assembly was held to open the scholarship awards ceremony for students who had achieved outstanding results throughout the semester. The bright morning began with the assembly, followed by the entrance of SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2’s principal, Ibu Suci Wulandari. Following the opening ceremony, the awarding ceremony began.
At the beginning of each semester, SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2 awards students who have demonstrated academic and non-academic achievements during the previous semester. There are eight scholarship quotas, four of which are academic (cumulative report card grades throughout the semester) and four non-academic (competitions in all fields) and discipline throughout the semester. Parents of the award winners will be invited to school to accompany their children to receive their awards.
This semester’s awards were won by Evelyne ’27, Adelita ’27, Nathan ’26, and Aurea ’26, who had the highest report card grades. Meanwhile, non-academic scholarship winners were Kevin ’26, Kenzie ’26, Regan ’26, and Anastasia ’26 for their victories in non-academic competitions.
This event will continue to be held every semester by SMA PJ 2 as a form of appreciation and motivation for its students. Congratulations to all award winners, best of luck, and may you achieve even greater heights. Never give up and keep pursuing your dreams!
