Celebrating Achievements while Welcoming the Scout Troop: Academic and Non-Academic Awards Ceremony 2026

A bright morning greeted a magnificent flag-raising ceremony. On Monday, January 12, 2026, Pembangunan Jaya 2 High School held an awards ceremony for students who achieved success during the previous semester. This event is always held as a token of gratitude, appreciation, and motivation to continue welcoming the new semester with enthusiasm.

The morning’s event began with a flag ceremony and the raising of the Indonesian flag. As the ceremony ended, the inauguration of the ambalan “Jayakarta” council and the official induction of the Bantara scouts were held. Afterward, the awards for scholarships and non-academic awards were announced by Mrs. Suci Wulandari, the principal of Pembangunan Jaya 2 High School. This semester, academic scholarships were awarded to Evelyne, Khayla, Aurea, and Kevin, the students with the highest report card scores. Non-academic awards were also received by Dhandy, Arya, Bayu, Anastasia, Ocha, and Charlene. In addition to student awards, this year’s teacher award was also presented, with Mrs. Yussi receiving awards.

Evelyne said, “At first, I didn’t think I’d be selected again for the scholarship because I felt my grades were so-so. Then, I finally received the news that I’d received the scholarship. I’m so happy and grateful to have this opportunity again. I hope my friends can feel it too. Never give up on studying and be smart about managing your time so you don’t have any unfinished assignments. Keep up the good work, friends!”

As we begin a new semester, we must remain enthusiastic and strive to achieve our goals.
