The new school year has officially begun. Mid-July marks the time for new students to participate in MPLS Ramah (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah). This program serves as the first step for students to familiarize themselves with their new school, including its physical environment, culture, and core values. The student council members of Pembangunan Jaya Sidoarjo Senior High School are currently in the midst of a busy period preparing for the MPLS Ramah. Various agendas have been carefully planned to ensure that this program effectively introduces new students to the school environment.
This year’s MPLS Ramah event features a unique new theme, “Reaching for the Brightest Stars,” with an imaginative outer space theme. The MPLS event will take place over five days, with the aim of helping new students become more familiar with the school environment, its culture, and the various programs offered at Pembangunan Jaya Sidoarjo Senior High School.
Before the MPLS Ramah activities began on Monday, July 14, 2025, the new students first participated in pre-MPLS activities held two days prior. During these activities, they got to know each other, including some of the student council members who would accompany them throughout the MPLS. After the introductory session, the students were divided into small groups to facilitate coordination and camaraderie during the subsequent MPLS Ramah activities.
