After a stressful period of exams and projects, class meeting day has finally arrived. At SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2, class meetings are held after each exam, a fun and engaging game-based event that fosters companionability and strengthens student friendships. This semester’s class meeting theme is “Break the Multiverse,” inspired by the various games this class meeting is based out of. Each time they play a game, participants will move to another dimension and need to transport to another dimension hence breaking through it. This year’s class meeting will be held from June 9th to 18th, 2026, and will feature 11 exciting games for 10th and 11th graders.
The games will be divided into seven separate days. On the first day, a fierce and engaging chess game is played, demonstrating the tension and focus of the students competing. The excitement continues on the second day, which features a female Smule (Karaoke) competition and a Mobile Legends competition. During the event, the audience cheered loudly, fully supporting their respective class representatives. This was followed the next day, by the Smule Boys competition and the Build-Battle competition, where participants were given two hours to complete a Minecraft build battle themed around the Pembangunan Jaya 2 school in Minecraft.
The fourth day opened with FIFA and Cooking Papa competitions. Two class representatives played FIFA, while three boys (one blindfolded, mouth taped shut, and the last one with earphones plugged in) prepared healthy and nutritious meals, despite numerous challenges. On the fifth day, the Doodle Ticket (Kasti) and Among Us competitions took place. In Among Us, one of the six class representatives would be the impostor and the other five would be crewmates, competing to determine who would emerge victorious. During the game, the impostor’s task was to find a knife and kill the crewmates without being noticed, while the crewmates’ task was to solve the scattered problems before their number of members dwindled. Among Us is a truly exciting and tense game, requiring students to think quickly and accurately to complete the assigned tasks.
During the sixth class meeting, the day began with a fierce NBA 2K26 (basketball) match between all participants. All participants demonstrated their best skills in strategizing and teamwork to achieve victory. During the NBA 2K26 competition, poster and comic book competitions were also held and judged. This year’s poster and comic book competitions were themed around the excitement of the events happening at Pembangunan Jaya 2 Senior High School, where students reflected on the creativity and enjoyment they experienced during the activities at PJ 2 Senior High School.
The final class meeting concluded with an inaguration competition themed around games. During this inaguration performance, students based their performances on the story and aesthetics of a particular game. Students also showcased their talents, such as dancing, singing, drawing, and acting, in a performance that was both entertaining and meaningful. Afterward, the class meeting concluded with a point accumulation and prizes awarded to each class for their efforts during the games. The conclusion of this class meeting marks the end of another year and the start of a new school year, we hope that in the new school year we all can become more diligent individuals and achieve better grades.
