Welcoming Generation 13, SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2 Successfully Holds MPLS 2026 Full of Excitement

The long-awaited day finally arrived, the new school year ushered in with enthusiasm and fond memories. From July 11th to July 17th, 2026, new students of SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2 participated in a series of activities called the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS). During the activities, participants were introduced to the school environment, rules, curriculum, school activities, and various extracurricular activities. During this period, new students were expected to adapt to their surroundings and build friendships with their peers.

On July 11th, the activities began with the Pre-MPLS. These activities included introductions to their groups and the senior mentors who would accompany them throughout the week. On Monday, July 13th, the MPLS activities opened with a flag ceremony, followed by an introduction to the school community and members of the Student Council (OSIS) and Student Representative Council (MPK) at SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2. Finally, a school tour and assignments regarding projects to be carried out during the MPLS activities were conducted. The second and third days of MPLS began with cheerful morning exercises followed by presentations. On the second day, the new students were presented with a shared commitment to uphold throughout their time at Pembangunan Jaya 2 High School. The two days concluded with preparations for a talent show, which would be presented on the fourth day of the MPLS.

The fourth day was filled with outdoor activities. On this day, the new students participated in various activities, such as reforestation, outbound activities, and various games held outside the school. Through these activities, students were encouraged to practice cooperation and environmental stewardship. The day’s activities concluded with a talent show by the new students, brimming with creativity and potential, which entertained the committee and their classmates. The MPLS activities concluded on the fifth day. The day opened with the announcement of their new class and homeroom teachers, followed by a showcase of extracurricular activities and clubs available during high school. The alumni parade was then held, where SMA Pembangunan Jaya alumni who have continued their education at universities in Indonesia and abroad shared tips and experiences from their time at university. Finally, there was a performance by Roodzward, a supporter activity at SMA Pembangunan Jaya 2, which will support at the DBL preliminary rounds held on August 6th.

The 2026 MPLS series of activities has concluded. It is hoped that the camaraderie forged during these activities will serve as valuable assets for the new students.
